After performing at the SO Festival in July, 5 of the 6 UK dancers travelled to Helsingborg, Sweden to adapt the piece with 6 new Swedish dancers for the Passage11 festival. We performed at several locations in the city as well as taking the ferry over to Helsingør in Denmark to perform there as well.

Having created the piece knowing that one dancer would not be able to join us, we quickly adapted the material to replace her where possible – I would assist in a lift here, swap in a new partner there. The hardest part was the final lift which wanted three people to support and we had to do it with two. I have some much more defined biceps thanks to that one!

Touring the piece internationally has been an amazing experience, and one I would love to repeat. Sweden also gets my full recommendation as a country to visit – it was beautiful, hot, and very welcoming.
